The Contamination

As we all know, one of the most important and serious problems in the world is environmental pollution. In Colombia the most serious factor is air pollution and contaminated soils. Every year, seven million people in the world die from air pollution. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Colombia is the second most polluted country in Latin America, with an average of 19,000 deaths per year in the entire territory. We are a campaign that will try to help as much as possible in the recycling of all objects that can damage our environment, we will also focus on caring for the earth, exactly the green areas because they are the lungs of the entire planet, in charge to generate oxygen and new air for the restoration of the environment. We will focus on recruiting all the people who want to be part of this campaign. What motivates us to continue with this project is that we will help our country and the world a lot in caring for our environment, because it is the place where we live and will be the place of future generations. 

The project will be carried out through campaigns that will be disseminated through social networks and all people who want to participate will be welcome, and with the people recruited will create small groups to be distributed in different sectors and then begin with the collection and recycling of all objects that may damage the environment, over time it is expected that this idea of campaign comes to ears around the country and can be joined many more people to contribute to this cause.

There are many causes of environmental pollution, among the main ones are the cutting down of trees, burning of trash, fossil fuels, excessive use of cars, plastic waste, etc. What we want to achieve with this project is to try to reduce at least or completely these causes that damage our environment, so we recommend society to stop the cutting of trees, as they are the ones that give us most of the oxygen, avoid burning trash because the smoke that is expelled is very dangerous to the ozone layer, use more public transportation because the excessive use of cars pollutes the air by expelling carbon dioxide and other harmful gases, finally it is recommended to recycle objects and not throw them away because these products can be reused and serve to do other things and help the environment.

Finally, what we want to achieve with this project is to reach the greatest number of people and create conscience about how important it is to take care of our environment and to influence the next generations to also follow these steps so that we live in a safe place free of contamination. I learned from this project is teamwork and that with effort and dedication many things can be achieved that will change the future of our lives.
